wheel protection

I have the sport chrome 20 inch wheels and i will be doing some gravel road this summer. Do you guys have some tricks or product to protect the wheel from rock.

Lived on gravel roads most of my life and never had a issue from gravel hurting my wheels.

But plastic dipping them would for sure put a layer of protection on them.
