Wheel size question

Does anyone have any idea what I can put on my 2016 outdoorsman I did the 2.5" leveling kit but was just curious on what size tire I can go with before it would start rubbing not to sure how to figure that out...thanks in advance fellas

With the 20" rims you can go as big as 295-65-20 before you have any issues with rubbing. I've even heard of people getting away with 35x12.5x20's with wheel spacers or more negative offset rims.

Hmm ok I have the 17" rims it came with a more aggressive tire from factory... I believe the factory size tire is 31.6"

If those are the same 17" wheels that are on other trims, I believe a 285/75 would be the biggest you can go before you start rubbing the control arm on the backside of the tire. You'll technically be out of spec for wheel width on that width of tire, but shouldn't be a problem.

I have a set of 285/75/17 I'm waiting to mount up on my '15 Tradesman. They're close to a 34"X11.5" tire.

Yeah 285/75R17 i would say is the biggest and safest to run on the stock 17's someone I seen was running 37/12.5 on them with 2" wheel spacers but I wouldn't do that

Ya I'm planning on buying new rims but not sure I'd go much bigger than 17" rim but def would like a meatier tire...Not to sure I'd want to put spacers on it not a big fan of how that looks...thanks fellas appreciate the info!!
