to all my brothers i am sorry, you may stone me after the fact....well the wifey has decided to keep her mini van and i am still going to sell my jeep play toy..soooo here we go, i am thinking new wheels tires and a leveling kit

1. what kind of leveling kit do i need? (brand comparisions, height, ect...)

2. i am staying with 20s for wheels bt is there anything to stay away from? I am gettin chrome wheels cause i think it will look the best with the deep cherry and the rest of the chrome..imo

3. what size of tires can i go up to with the leveling kit? i dont want an overly aggressive pattern but not one that looks to much like stock...on all my old trucks i used 285/75/16 bfg all terrains, that was 10 years ago and havent had to do this since..lol

gentleman, thank you for your help and support, and what is sad is i said i want goin to mod my truck....ha who was i kidding

In my opinion you should go with Hellbent steel levelling kit, i used it and its great. essentially all levelling kits are the same, why would you pay for more when you get the same??

as for tires, with my levelling kit i have 35x12.5 and theres no rubbing at all. you have to choose backspacing and offset based on the size of tire you get, thats all you have to stay away from or be worried about!

hope that helps

Well there are a few options for leveling, either bilstein shocks or a coil strut spacer aka leveling kit. I myself installed a 2.5 HBS leveling kit on my 2012 and love it. It left me with about an .80 inch rake which is great if I decided to tow/haul. As far as wheels you could do a 20x9 or 20x10 with a 0 offset. Then for tires you could fit up to 35 inch. But I dont like the "stuffed" look of 35's. So I went with a 305/55/20 basically a 33 inch tire. Hope this helps!

Hellbent Steel leveling kit or Bilstein 5100 shocks (which are adjustable and a better option for true leveling) and I agree...35's will work.

depends on the tire brand itself, because not all make an exact match to a 35 inch tire..a Nitto Trail Grappler in 35 inches would be their 295/65/20

I like a 34 on a level vs a 35 myself.

2.5. You can even do it yourself, as with the bilsteins you probably can't unless you have a spring compressor. 35's fit great, i love em
