So gents be slowly elminating all the chrome on my lonestar and thinking of taking the chrome bumpers to be redone in black chrome. It's about 400 to have them painted and 450 for black chrome. What do you guys think?

I'd just have the bumpers color matched white and then get some black wheels. I think black bumpers would make it look like a cheaper base model.

black chrome can be hit or miss sometimes it has a greenish look

I like your creativeness, but I've seen black chrome, and it only looks good on wheels IMO.

Get the grill and wheels done in black chrome. but get the bumper stripped and painted to match.

I believe you can. Just have to get all the chrome stripped off first. You could also vinyl wrap your bumpers for probably less

There's a product out to DIY black mirror chrome your wheels, but I'm 100% sure it'll work beautifully on any chrome surface...and it's NOT $400! I can't remember the brand, but saw it on Powerblock TV.
