I think I'd have to cut it off and rebuild the bottom of the hood. It's all fiberglass, right?

All you have to do is measure from the inside down.

Exactly. That scoop looks like it occupies the same space as my blower.

Well it hangs down about 2.5" in the back and about 3.5" in the front. Hard to measure when the underside isnt flat. THe center part where the scoop is, is about 3.5" from the flat part behind it. I do have pics if that helps.

Notice for a point of reference that if you have the K&N FIPK like I have it sticks above the fender and touches the opening on the hood.

Thanks. Those pics help a lot. I think for me to run that hood I'd have to rebuild the bottom on that side and make it match the driver side plus seal the scoop in front. I don't want any water or anything else getting onto the motor.

Welcome.

I haven't seen any water thru the scoop yet. I get more water from the opening between the fenders and the radiator sides.

The hood is hollow inside. bottom and top are glued together. I have pics in that link showing the inside from the scoop and the filter opening. If I had time and the right know-how I'd like to seal off the area so all the air the scoop pics up goes right to the filter..
