Has anyone else noticed this with their HID's? Seems like mine have a slight tint of yellow. I have the Morimoto 5000k 35w from retroshop.

Hmmm.....strange. I didn't think the 5ks had any blue at all.

But anyways....the yellowing might have made a little more sense as the 5k is warmer but that is weird.

You sure you didn't accidentally get sent some 4300k bulbs? I have the 5k 35w retro shop kit and there is no yellow in mine. It's weird you would get a yellow tint at that kelvin rating.

I have 5000k hid's with 35 watt bulbs in my projectors and I thought my hid's were pure white till I put 5000k led's in my fog lights. After doing that the hid's look to have a slight yellow tint

Yep. The yellowness is so slight that most people wouldn't notice it. It's mostly in the hot spot. Don't get me wrong, the HID's are awesome and mostly a crystal white. The blueness is ever so slight as well. Most people wouldn't say they are blue.

It's always hard to tell From a picture. I have to state that I have smoke laminex on my fogs which is changing the color some, but I think even without the laminex the leds would look more pure white than the hid's. In this picture the fogs look purple but in person it's more a brown tint from The laminex.

Well I'm color blind lol. I looked at my hot spot on the ground this morning and sure enough, lil bit a yellow [emoji849]. Still love my lights though lol.

Years back I had some 3k HIds in my fogs on my SRT and them things were stupid bright.

Yellow as hell and easily overpowered the OEM Hids which I believe were around 4300k? I believe.
