2013 Bench Seat Console/Cupholders

I was looking on ebay, and I saw a 2013 Ram express with the bench seat. The fold down console was different, it had cupholders. I wish my truck had this. Does anyone know how difficult it would be to buy and install one that matched my interior?

That is the only thing I wish mine had. That or, cup holders in the little tray on the floor in front of the center jump seat instead of the kinda plain flat storage trays that are there.

I would bet that the dealer cost is ridiculously expensive. Your best bet is to wait for someone to wreck a 2013. Or find a seat from someone who switched to the full Console.

Funny, that's probably the only thing I don't like about the 2013's. I guess I'm the only one though. Our Chevy's at work have cupholders like that and they're a pain in the butt.

It drives me nuts to hear a cup making noise from rubbing the dash in the existing cupholders. And you have to lean forward to reach your cup every time you need a cup. Kinda a PITA when your a dipper!

Oh, well I am neither a dipper nor do I buy the Super Duper Big Gulp soft drinks. Lol. For a normal water bottle or a medium/large drink from a fast food place, they work great.

I debated getting a bench vs the center console on the 2013 Ram I just ordered. End up getting the Sport so it has the center console. But I really liked the bench in everything but the Express, it is missing the best part of the bench. The seat portion has storage in it, in every other model but the Express. Great spot to lock up a pistol. There are even a few lock boxs out there that fit or are made to fit in the cubby hole.

I found photos of the Laramie bench seat and it looks the same as the Express but in leather. And the Express seats have storage inside too.

They look identical and the top half is but the bottom/ bench section flips open too. There is another post in this section that shows what I'm talking about.

I'd be happy just finding a center console/jumpseat (of any type) that has the lower storage. My dad's 2010 has it, but my 2007 does not. I know both a 4th gen or 3rd gen console should fit.

I really don't like a single bit of the 2013 interior updates. They shrank drastically the amount of concealed space in the center console. BOOO!

I love that I can easily fit a 8.5 x 11 piece of paper in there without it getting wrinkled or folded up.
