Just tinted the windows (or actually had a shop do it). Got to say, they got as damn close to the back windows as is humanly possible. very pleased. Any way, a couple of questions for those in the know...

1) here in central kentucky the weather is sunny, but cool. how long to cure? also, the truck will be in the garage for a couple of days (im travelling) - will that affect time of curing?

2) he said to never clean with ammonia based window cleaners...i guess that means no windex or glass plus. So what do you use?

#1 - a day or so in the sun will be enough. If you have it on the side windows I would wait at least a day before you roll them down.

#2 - Most glass cleaners will say on them if its safe for window tint. Just go to an autoparts store

there's this thing, i used it on my ford, had it completely blacked out, but it's called simply green. you can find it pretty much anywhere you get windex, and don't roll down the windows for a couple days, just leave it in the sun, let it do it's thing then you'll be fine

I think I kept my windows up for about two days. I've always used invisible glass on the tint. Works well with no problems.

Not really. I've used ONR before too (hell, I still have half a gallon of it here). ONR you are still using water, and ONR has no wax in it.
