a runaway passenger floor mat? sorry if you thought it would be a flashier thing to tame, like a babe or a monkey or something. just a floor mat:********:

velcro stuck to the bottom of the mat should work. Well atleast in theory.

how hard is making a fastener like on the driver side's mat? anyone done that?

Not hard at all if you have access to a grommet tool and you don't mind drilling a hole in the floor to mount a hook. I would just put Velcro on the bottom.

Ive got the same issue as well, every time I have a passenger exit I always ask them to push the mat back so it doesn't get smashed in the door.

do your mats not have the plastic spikes on the bottom cause i dont have this issues with mine. i have the carpet mats and then rubber mats on top.

Interesting. Mine tends to move a bit too. The velcro is a good idea, never thought of that.
