I'm doing a mod to my truck and am going to modify the side inspection cover so I can run a cable thru it.....but I want to get another just in case this doesn't work out as planned...I called the dealer but he had no clue so I'll have to go up there...But if I could get a part number I might be able to find it on line....

Thanks...I called the dealer earlier and he guessed at what I needed and said it was 35 bucks and had to be ordered...he suggested I stop down tomorrow and look at a picture to see if it was the right part...now I can just give him the part number....and from what I just saw on line its only about a 15 dollar part...I might even get 2. I remounted my bullydog but found a better bracket than I originally drilled the holes for...right now its ok but I covered it with a piece of vinyl to hid the mistake...i'll but one cover for the mod...and keep one in case I ever remove it. I'm **** about holes in my truck and not thrilled with the vinyl as you can see in the picture... the hole where the screw is goes into a threaded insert to hold the panel tight...but originally I was mounting the bullydog there...but forgot about the curve of the console and the bullydog hitting it and not laying flat... a new cover and I'll correct those issues

Thanks...I had it mounted on the left side at first...see picture below... and kinda liked it but its more concealed here. I don't need to be looking at it once the tune is in but still wanted to be able to access it easy to put in a new tune or run trouble codes.I've since put a little chrome cap over the screw you see to make it look a little cleaner but once I get another cover I'll make it even cleaner. . I wanted to put a screw there because it locks the side cover piece in place a bit firmer so the weight of the tuner doesn't pop it out and that spot is the only spot that connects to the inner console...but I couldn't use that spot for the mount because of the curve of the console ,it wouldn't allow it to lay flat and I had to use a mount that moved it away from the console...as shown below... and I didn't like it on that mount..i wanted it to sit flush and out of the way when not in use..

the unit that the power cord and HDMI cable goes to is gorilla taped to the removable portion of the lower dash..the section under the steering wheel and above the brake pedal.....and the cable just goes thru the back of the center console to behind the panel that I have the unit screwed to... the removable panel I'm looking for...And the powered part of the unit is easy to get to in order to flip the switch from keyed to batt which you have to do to install a new tune when they ask you to cycle the key etc...
