Should just pop out. On my '12 - which should be the same as your '09 -, all I had to do was take the two screws out of the pocket tray on top of the center dash (directly above the radio), pop out the trim piece around my 115V socket and remove one bolt inside there, and then just pry the edges of the panel out.

Many newer (including mine) don't have the screw in the little cubby hole on the right side but look to make sure.

If you have the full center console, be sure to remove that first. But as far as the dash part. Its really easy. Just pop the rubber piece up top in the sunglasses holder, remove 2 torx screws, and give it a good tug.

Easy as removing rubber piece in the sunglasses holder, remove 2 torx screws underneath it, and give it a good tug.
