Howdy y`all,

Does anyone have A CB or HAM radio mounted in there truck? If so could you post some pictures of your setup? I am looking for some ideas also how do you have your antennas mounted? Thanks

Theres is a few pics in that CB thread. Those are about the only places you can mount it close to you.

OP - dont know if you mounted your radio yet. But I highlights some mounting places in this pic that some members on my other forum have theirs mounted. If installed in dash, you need to install a small fan or two behind the radio to keep it cool...hope this helps bud. Also you will need to cut some plastic out with a dremmel

Here is how I have my 2m / 70cm radio mounted in my truck. I made a mount out of some wood and than wrapped it in cloth. This way it is pointing to the driver.

I wonder where that little two switch box in above pic came from? Needing one for my FD lights and that looks very clean!

Finally got some pictures of my radio in my truck. I have a Yaesu FT-350ar. The body is mounted under my driver seat, with the mic mount on the left side of the driver seat. The last one is of my dash cam.

Yes I do. I really like the display. Works great for how I use it. The dual receive functionality is very nice. Or you can set it up for cross band repeat. Plus I picked it up for about half price.
