I have an ottercase for the S4 but haven't tried it. The mount is adjustable and they make several sizes to accommodate cases. If U want I can put the Otter on my S4 and try.. will let you know.

Since it's molded in, I used 3M tape vice screwing it in, and it's nice and stable. The angle if the wall and the holder being tilt able makes a pretty good viewing angle . For my use anyway... ecc9b149985523253896ed4c7e6d3fd6.jpg

I have the Bayou mount with an iBolt dock.
It was a little expensive for a phone mount, but works great. Really solid and the Dock n' Drive app for it works really well too. Have a Galaxy Note 3 so a pretty large phone.

Is it just my work computer and the messed up viewing/browsing controls we have or are the pictures of the mounted proclips gone? I'd like to see the proclip mount in the card holder, but I'm unable to see any pics. Can you re-post them or PM me with info?

I ordered the iOttie Easy Flex Wireless Qi Standard Car Mount Charger off of Amazon ($50) right before the Easy One Touch Qi came out (wasn't waiting for a better release method, but I see the benefit). I find it works great with my Nexus 5.

The iOttie mount really sticks to the dash like nothing I have seen before. Not sure if I will be able to get it to release in a few years or not. Definitely would hold solid on the textured dash as well.

The iOttie let me keep the dash tray for my portable XM receiver (Lifetime Subscription) I have had for a few years and I modified the 12v adapters for it and my XM so I could tap into the 12v outlet behind the dash. See pictures for more...

This is not mine, but I have this Macally cup-holder mount in my truck. I don't have the center console, so I have the fold-down 3-cup holder in mine where I put it in the middle and it does the job perfectly.

It would seem to me that any of these holders mounted as this one is or in the console require you to briefly take your eyes off the road to look at the phone. I see this as a safety issue. Mounted up on the dash or windshield seems to be a lot safer. Am I wrong?

I ordered this one off of Amazon.ca, mounted it on my centre unit. So far it works great, sticks well and doesn't shake too badly even when I'm off road. Fits my iPhone 6 w/ Magpul case very well. Plenty of space for bigger devices. Paid $20CAD. I'd buy one again.
