Center chrome brezel

So, I just bought my truck and I'm taking it on a road trip from Virginia to Oklahoma. The sun is reflecting directly off the Chrome brezel into my face. Has anybody modified this brezle?

That was my first thought of doing as well. Just worry about it holding up over time

plastidip holds up fine. Just do 4-5 coats and it'll be solid. That's what I did.

I used Nightshade to coat it, still shines like chrome but darker.

I painted mine. A few coats of rattle can in your choice of color. And, to match things up, pop off the vent trim and paint it the same color.

Does the chrome bezal on the 16's just pop out like the older style? it seems tight?

I was told it didn't and was definitely not going to force it and chance breaking it so I wrapped it on the truck

big horns came with a "painted" satin type not super shinny.it says painted on the mopar desription but i don't know the part number but my 15 bighorn had it.i think they're like 80.00 bucks though.

This sure looks good. No seams, no wrinkles, no edges showing and doing it on the truck----lots of skill, time and patience IMHO.

thanks!!! that was the first time I had vinyl wrapped anything, and its not perfect but for doing it in the truck like you said, i'm quite happy with it. If i knew how easy it was to get that section of the center console out at the time I would have at least then been able to do it on a table and not in weird positions in the truck lol.

I did mine with 4 coats for good measure. Just clean the trim well with some rubbing alcohol and have at it. Worked great yesterday, zero glare.
