Center Console Swap

hey guys, i THINK i have all the parts needed for a swap from the jump seat to a center console.. if there is anything that i am missing, can you please let me know before i try to do this !

heres what i have so far..

1HR96XDVAC- extension panel (left?)
1HR97XDVAC- extension panel (right?)
55365121AC- rear floor mounting bracket
55365120AA- front floor mounting bracket
1VY921X9AD- center bezel for center console
center console

im pretty sure i have what i need, but i would like to order anything in if there is something that i missed before tearing it down to realize im missing something..

do you have rear air vents now on the jump seat? if not then you will need some duct work

you might not need the extension panels, they typically come with the console if you buy used.

Well guys, center console is in on my 2015 1500... Install went awesome... Also cut out the hole on the right side of the dash for the usb plug..

all in all ran me about 600 bucks give or take.. im sure if you take your time you can find the parts for cheaper..

i really was a bit skeptical to try it since there havent been any 2015s with the swap done, that i saw atleast..

i really enjoy the usb plug on the dash now.. it was at a bit of an awkward angle before..

Random question... Any guys with a 2014-2015 center console swap order weather tech floor mats? I would assume they'll still fit if I order the ones for the truck with a center console, maybe?

i bought the console off ebay.. best price i could find..

same here ebay.... and you can use a console for 09+ they are slight different but usable.

Did you end up needing anything not on this list? Based on your photo, I think we have the same interior setup, although I just installed some laramie seats to go with the console.

Thanks for the quote. I read through that thread as well but he has the 8.4 uconnect with single climate control. I want to keep the 5.0 uconnect to upgrade to an aftermarket stereo later. I already have a center console, so I think my parts list will be slightly different than your link, and more like the OP for this thread.

Everything is same. Only thing different is bezel. I didn't include that in parts list. Good luck

That was everything I needed.. just make sure you have all your nuts and bolts.. or an array or spare ones to choose from.. my console came missing two bolts and my dealer needed a vin and all these other goodies from me in order to get me a bolt, which they claimed didn't exist..

Thanks man ! I know, it's a bad habit I can't kick !.. I strongly suggest doing the swap.. one of my favorite things I've done... whenever I get into my buddies truck with the jump seat I always think to my self.. man I'm sure glad I have a center console
