New to the forum. So far I have learned and acquired many things here.
Love my 2010 ram 1500 but the cluster as well as the area were the radio and ac controls are make the truck look outdated. Is there anyway to retrofit a newer cluster, radio and ac controls from a newer model to my 2010?

No. Number of Plugs are completely different on the cluster. I can’t remember witch but the 10-12 has 2 plugs and the 13+ has one. Or vice versa. Like I said I can’t remember....

the 2009-2012 Actually has 4 Plugs on the back of the Cluster but only 3 are used. 2 on the right side and 1 on the left if looking forward while in driver seat.

I was wondering about putting in a 2013+ Cluster but I am sure the plugs are different as well as the codes for certain things would not be present in the PCM to make it function correctly.

My biggest Gripe is that at 215K on my Cluster the Lights even at their brightest are really DIM. Can we replace the LED's in there with aftermarket ones without soldering anything?
