i have a 2012 ram crew cab sport. My confusion is that i have the TWO floor hooks for the drivers side mat. On Mopar and on weather tech i can only find the mats that have the single hook. What the hell?

I've had two new RAMs this year. First one bought in Feb. - a 2012 CC Express with carpet mats and it had one hook on drivers side. Second one(after totaling first one) bought in Sept. - a 2012 CC Express with rubber slush mats from factory. It has two hooks on drivers side and passenger side. They either changed number of hooks half way through year or added for the slush mats.

The two hooks must be new for '12, my '11 only has one hook for the drivers mat.

it just sucks cause i cant find any with the two hooks. im sure it was due to all the floor mat recalls with other companies they wanted to be safe. maybe ill just buy the floor mats and just cut a hole for the second hook...which i did not wanna do. im sure the actual dealership has the right slush mats with the revised version, just wanted to get them cheaper from ebay

I also tried to buy a set of Mopar rubber mats this weekend.
Apparently they shifted from 1 hook> 2 hooks mid '12 production, and the 2-hook mats are now in production but they wouldn't give me an ETA.
Now shopping for Weather Techs for the front.

i got the mats in they are great, BUT in the second half of 2012's makes me unable to really use the fronts. i didnt know this before, but even the passenger side has 2 hooks too lol. i just put them over top the carpeted ones, ill probably just drill holes in them

So i talked to dodge, and they said late model 2012's and 2013's have the 2 hooks for both the passenger and drivers side. They said the part numbers for those slush matts will come out in the next month or two. hope this helps!

How do your mats fit? I just bought a 2013 crew and while in my spending frenzy for accessories ordered a set of 2011 mats. I figured they'd fit but I have the 2 hooks on both sides and the mats I ordered have the single drivers side hook. Can the hooks be removed or do the mats fit ok over top?
