I have been looking for a while for some way to lite up my cupholders. I looked at the ones from the DIY on here, and thought about doing led wire around the top. After a few months of searching I came across a set up I really liked. They come with RGB led's and controller, so you can match your interior lights real close.

I am hesitant to post the website I bought from, unless a mod says it's OK.

I paid $77 shipped for the whole package for 4 cup holders. I am not affiliated with the guy making these at all, I just wanted to share a really cool mod with the ram bros.

Really cool. What did you tap into for lights to work?...Front and back?

I tapped the cig lighter inside the console, for front and back. I had to punch a small hole in the very bottom of the cup holder to run the wires through. I sealed it back up and used a small dab of silicone to make them stay stuck to the bottom.

I found them at jeep-core.com. I bought these back before christmas, it actually took about three weeks to get them. I just got around to installing them yesterday.

I bought 2 of the 05-07 WK Grand Cherokee sets. That set comes with 2 rings, one is a tad smaller. I used the smaller ring in the back.

On the rear cup holder it is easy to break the hold tabs if you aren't careful. I broke one side but it went back in snug and since its on carpet it can't rattle, so its all good. There are two tabs, one on each side. You can take a small flat screwdriver and push the tabs in to release it.

The site lists the sizes as 67mm and 72mm in the "2005-7 Grand Cherokee" how snug did the 72mm fit? The 2008-2010 kit lists a 72mm and 73mm, just wondering how those might fit?

The ones I installed didn't fit super tight. The 73mm would work in the front, not real sure on 72mm working in the back but 67mm left probably 1/8" all the way around.

I rough measured with a tape measure and converted to metric. You could probably do that with a cardboard cut out to check. I would think the acrylic lighted part should be easy enough to sand a little off if needed.
