Yeah my 2012 ram has a loud creaking when driving and it's really annoying , I try to keep my truck clean cut and well maintained but the creaking makes it sound like it's coming apart... Noise is coming from what sounds like drivers side in around where your head light controls/ steering column. Anyone else have this issue

Same issue here... when I get some time I want to isolate it and get rid of it!

Take a look at the drivers side wiper nut, I actually just did this today

Pics in order of appearance:

!. Pop the caps off the wipers, 15MM socket for the nuts and pull the wiper arms off. Mine were on there pretty good, used my 30 year old Snap-On battery terminal puller to pop them loose.
2. Remove the 4 plastic press-in clips along the front of the cowl cover.
3. Pop the washer hose holder out also, lift front of cowl cover up, mine wedged up nicely on the hood struts, didn't need to remove it.
4. Voila, the culprit is all the way to right, bolt and rubber grommet circled in red.
5. I have the bolt half-way out, 10MM socket, it fits down into a metal sleeve which is part of the rubber grommet, metal bolt was squeaking inside metal sleeve, a little grease on the bolt, a little WD-40 on the the rest of the linkage, reverse steps, listen to the radio in peace again

Hope this helps

Brand new truck, two months old, been back three separate times for a squeaky noise. Letting the dealer know about this fix, as soon as they open. Thanks !!
