DavidRam's RCSB Interior Makeover - It's Time To **** My Cab!

So I have a nunber of other mods that I am working on... But the more I do stuff elsewhere the more out-of-place my cab looks, compared to the rest of the truck.

Btw, it is bone stock not one single mod done, yet.

Sooooooo, it's time for a little :superhack:

and a little :buffer:

I have already ordered the Billet Tech door locks in Black with machined edge. The black & polished/chrome look is my theme, I don't want to get too wild with colors in the cab... maybe a hint of red somewhere?

Here are some of the things I am thinking about:

- Stainless/Billet/Mopar Door Sills - not sure what logo on them

- Billet Pedals - it looks like Mopar and Putco are the only ones available for our trucks?

- Carbon fiber - accents on the dash, just a little

- Katzkin or Clazzio leather seat covers - not sure which yet. Katzkins are definitely the best, but I have had no luck getting samples from them. Clazzio's factory is 5 minutes from my house, and they have been extremely helpful and willing to do some custom stuff.

- Headliner - definitely gonna do something. There is nothing ****tier in my cab than the headliner that Ram put on my truck :puke:

- Door panels - swapping mine out for R/T door panels (thank you Unbroken

)

Any more ideas??? Any pics of your trucks with some of the above mods???

(the stereo needs some work but that is a whole nother thread, lol)

Sounds like you're off to a good start.

My interior isn't exactly the fanciest either at the moment, but a couple of ideas for ya...I've got a US Speedo white gauge overlay. They come in different colors, but I was a fan of the white like the 3rd gens. I'm not home at the moment, or else I'd take a pic. And my iPad won't let me link anything for some reason, but there's a thread on here. "US speedo gauge overlay." They are a pita to install, but their customer service was great (at least for me).

And I went with Putco liquid pedals. They look the same as the Mopar, but the Mopars wouldn't work with my adjustable pedals (apparently).

And I know this doesn't exactly qualify as "looks," but have you upgraded any of your interior lights to LED? HUGE difference!

Embroidered headrests maybe? Of your logo or something?

A different shifter? Love my Mopar T handle. Know Billet Tech has some options as well.

Some interior paint? A lot (including myself) have either painted, wrapped, or hydro dipped various pieces.

Thanks for all that! Great ideas! Your interior upgrades sound alot like the ones I want to, when you get home could you post a pic?

- Embroidered headrests (with my logo) are a must. Clazzio will do that, with Katzkins I think I'll have to send it to this lady near me... uuuuhhh... I forgot her name.

- LED lights sound great, I am going to look in to that. I thought about doing the underdash lighting in red...

- I am thinking about doing the carbon fiber wrap on a few pieces on the dash.

I have the steering column shifter, so I'll pass on the shifter handle (I just looked up the Mopar one that you have, it's very nice).

Does anyone know where to get door sills, maybe custom ones??

I am thinking of adding two sets of door sills, the mopar ones that say "RAM" and the Putco ones that go on the lower edge. I think it would give it a cool look, mixing the stainless with the polished.

I think there is a center console for sale in the for sale section? And none of my bidness buddy but I have to say NOOOOOOOO to the red interior lights!!!! Please NOOOOOO!!!! Only truck that looks ok on is Blackout11. Different look than your truck I think.....Yes on the Clazzio covers. Way to go on that. Center console with a sub box behind it but still kinda high up (elbow to shoulder height maybe?). What do ya think? Then a carbon fiber shifter in the console?

Does someone make a carbon fiber shifter for a steering column? I would like that.

It looks like a massive cup holder... lol! I am gonna have to leave the audio stuff for another thread, because that will come last.

I think it would look good if it was color matched. Have you thought of a black chrome look maybe? On the chrome parts and the door sills.

Yes sir, black/chrome is exactly the look I want. Basically, the BT locks is my theme.

When I say chrome, I am including polished, stainless steel and the likes.

Besides the door sill plates why not go ahead and also have the door sills themselves clear-bra'd so you don't scratch those all up also?

Still deciding between sued inserts or perforated... I am gonna go to the factory to make my choices with all the samples and options in front of me.

My logo is black and red and will be embroidered into the headrest. I am thinking of just doing the outline below. :naughty:

Thanks man. I actually saw that and for some reason thought it was missing the parking brake pedal, because amazon was trying to get me to add it on to my order... Which lead me to believe it might be a 2pc set rather than the 3pc??

I read the description again and did say "includes clutch or emergency break if applicable" and the model number is the same as the 3pc set on Putco's website. So I just ordered it.
