Yep you are right, I just went out in the garage and held up the piece of aluminum I will be using to the insert and the shorter one like a badge looks awesome!

Aluminum piece for door insert badge is done. Cut it with the Dremel, heated it and bent it, grinded it into shape, dry and wet sanded it to perfection! ;)


I smoothed the edges to a knife edge because I don't want there to be a lip as it sits against the panel.
