My dad and I both have 2014 ram 1500 hemi 5.7. Mine is a Laramie his is the big horn. During expressway driving a green light in the lower left corner of his evic shows "ECO". Mine does not ever do this. Is there a reason why?

you have to turn it on in the uconnect settings, display i believe then eco light or something like that

If you don't see the on/off setting in the controls, you may need to update the uConnect software...the ECO light was missing for 1 or 2 versions. It was restored in the latest version.
