So truck literally started flickering about two weeks ago and it was very minor...kinda had to look for it.

Today it seems to have gone haywire...seems there might be other threads about it but I have some trouble finding out if they were resolved or not.

Did anyone else have this problem and what was the final outcome?

So tried to go to the dealer that advertises "late night service" only to be told I needed an appointment. Awesome. Except soonest appointment is the second week of January. At which point my truck will likely be out of warranty.

All due thanks to my local dealership for continuing to break my faith in the brand!

I would call Chrysler or send a message to forum member "ramcares". Clusters are expensive even more so through the dealer.

Mine did the same thing the other night - first night it was in the teens. As soon as the headlights came on the gauges flickered just like you have on the video - if i turned the brightness up it seems to go away (i keep them almost off). After I read a couple threads about it, I popped the hood and pushed on each of the fuses - they all clicked into place. Hasn't happened again, but it also hasn't been that cold again. I thought it was weird that the fuses weren't fully seated, but it sounds like a lot of others have found that as well. I'll let you know if it comes back when it gets cold again. Mine is a 2016 Longhorn, I've had it for two weeks.
I read in one thread that their is a bulletin on it and some software update.

The same thing happened to mine on my 16 sport. It was the same thing if I turned up the dim it would go but when low it would flicker it only happened once also but unlike you it was not cold here it was in the 60s here

I'm pretty sure there's a flash update for this. Don't remember if it was for the cluster or bcm. Get the appointment set now & repair order created while you're still under warranty. That way it's documented that you were complaining about it before it expired. Saves you from having to jump through more hoops.

Happened again this morning - wasn't that cold, either, turned up the brightness and it stopped, lowered it and it flickered. I'll call the dealer and see if they have an update.

That's my problem. I scheduled the appointment but they won't open an RO until the truck is seen. By the time the truck is seen it'll be out of warranty.

reach out to ramcares - maybe they can get it covered under warranty or at least noted so you can it taken care of when you get to the dealer. Another thread in the tech section has the TSB 08-073-16 which is for '16 trucks, older ones they said get a new cluster.

Here's a brand new 2016 Rebel, that supposedly has that software update, and it still does the flickering. Ram seems very interested in my truck right now.

Hi BigDogg795

Sorry to hear about this! I'd be happy to follow up with your dealership if you decide to make an appointment. Just PM our page with your VIN and let me know.
