Fold rear seats down

I have a quad cab that has the rear seats that the seat part that goes up. I can't seem to figure out how to fold the back part to fold down. Can the backs be folded down? My back windows are dirty and the head rests are in the way preventing me from getting them cleaned good.

I have an 04 quad cab and only the bottom seat folds up. You can try a squeegee

Search for the fold down rear seat mod.
Basically you have to unbolt the rear seats and modify the clips that hold the seat backs to the rear wall.
On some years, all that is required is to turn a bracket upside down. On the later years you need to either add a spacer under the seat, or cut the tab on the back of the seats.

Very simple. Tools, 18 mm socket and wrench, breaker bar, jig saw with metal blade. Bolts are locktited in, hence the BB. Take out rear bolts. Two on each seat. Loosen front half way. The wrench was for the larger seat front center bolt. Socket wouldn't fit under tab. The seats will pop off back wall. Cut tab at the bottom of plastic and you're done. Took an hour.
