Anyone have the passenger seat rattle horribly when going over bumps? Laramie with power seats. Is there something I can tighten to stop this?

Check and make sure it's not the jack assembly that's over on the passenger side.... mine rattled a little until I tightened it down.

Yeah, I have owned enough rams to check that out. I also put some 3m foam tape on the jack cover under that seat.
The seat back shakes violently and rattles but it isn't loose if you get my drift.

Hi reb0957,

I found a TSB that may relate to the concern you are experiencing:

"NUMBER: 23-033-15
GROUP: Body
DATE: August 22, 2015

SUBJECT:
Rattle/Clunking/Popping Noise While Driving Vehicle On Uneven Roads

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may describe a rattle/clunking noise or popping that can be heard and felt in the floor under the front passenger or driver side when the vehicle is driven on uneven roads, especially from a higher level to a lower level. Noise may be more audible at cold temperature."

It sounds like your noise might have to do with the passenger seat itself but I thought this was worth sharing. Your local dealership will be able to identify if this TSB applies to your vehicle and answer further questions!

I have the same problem, or at least I think I do. Mine is a lateral movement in the front passenger seat back. It obviously does it when driving over bumps, but I can move it by hand also. It has only appeared in the last few thousand miles. I’m wondering if it’s simply a loose bolt...

The seat track may only be fully locking on one side also
