This is on a 2016 Ram Tradesman regular cab.

With the vent selection in the 12:00 position, and the fan cranked up, I don't seem to be getting much air from the heater vents. You can hear the fan making a sound somewhere in/under the dash that would give you the impression that its putting out a lot of air. Just wondering if some vacuum hose isn't connected.

Eventually, the cab heats up.

Is this normal and if not, what should I check/test to correct it?

With other vent selections, I get a pretty good air flow from the upper vents.

Hi JimP,

If you decide to visit your local dealership for further diagnosis I'd be happy to follow up with them for you if needed. Just PM our page with your VIN and let me know!

This is the same problem on my 2011, it's worse in the summer , it gets hot in the cab. Some have suggested there is dirt/mud on the heater core or evaporator blocking flow.. Please let us know what you find...
