Howdy Gents;

Been a long time lurker but I finally found something to post about. After a long an frustrating search, I decided to build my own load floor. I used 5/8" CDX plywood, I/O carpet, door hinges, T nuts, carpet glue, and an electric staple gun. After about $70 and 3 hours this is what I came up with (it'll hold 2 90+ lbs. dogs with no problem).

It doesn't look like it folds down under the seat. Does it?

It really doesn't because I didn't take the thickness of the 2 pieces of plywood and carpet into consideration when measuring. I was only concerned with the whole thing fitting between the steel seat supports. In retrospect, I should have made the whole thing narrower so that it doesn't hit the seat rest/stop or whatever you call the danged steel tab with a plastic bumper on it. It looks like the seat "rests" on it when folded down.
There is plenty of room between the bottom of the seat and the top of the folded plywood floor.
I guess I could have made the lengths of the folding floor unequal and hinged them further out.
It's all hindsight now since I'm not building another one :)
Either way it's all good because I store it under the tonneau in the bed when it's not in use (and because my better half thinks I'm a god because we can transport her hairy kids easier than before - when she's happy, I'm happy)

I want to buy one for my 15, my 04 has one. The dealer can't "find" it in a diagram. Does anyone have one they want to sell or know where I can get one?

I've seen them on eBay. You could try a local dealer but I went with the one I built because of the price. They also don't directly retro-fit and you have to do some fitting. I'll spend the cash I saved on performance upgrades.
