Katzkin kit will run you about $600-$700 depending on what you want. Install should range between $250-$350. Easy to do yourself if you're a little handy.

Here are the saddleback covers without the tooled leather. I think it turned out great! 709cc14af820f81d283f0b643dae73eb.jpg21e993aae1b8a23dbd0d8f679cf8e97e.jpg9828d6bacd503a80333fbbff71cab659.jpga5852d96737c1ac0ae156546e4dd8316.jpg963b3266382f230211b3fe0d726045d5.jpg57b415e165eeed6baf8e20217c840c54.jpg251d6fc8fb530a9b0760bc206301d564.jpg

How hard are these to install? Is it better left to the professionals?

Yes, perfectly. It's called coffee. The stitching also matches. It's called ivory.

I can't say. I assume I could do it in a weekend. However, I don't have a steamer, etc to get it looking right. For the total cost, it was worth the $1200 for me to have a leather interior installed by professionals. I think it's cheap but looks so quality. I'm very impressed with Katzkin leather!

I did mine myself and it wasn't to bad. I felt the 500 to 1000.00 I was quoted to install it was a little high. I pretty much knocked it out in a weekend. Honestly it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I actually installed Laramie seats in my Express so it took a it the longer. I watched some videos online and went to Walmart and bought a 30.00 garment steamer and it worked fine. I ended up getting mine from Leather Sests.com. The quality was outstanding and I have heard Katzkin is as well. P.S. when I took these pics I hadn't done the console lid yet.

I agree! They all look great guys! I will definitely be getting leather in my truck soon. Just do not know from what company. It sounds like they're all good quality and similarly priced. But the fact the Katzkin works with chrysler/mopar has me leaning towards them.

Say, so does all of the old fabric come off the seat before installing the leather?

Yes. It's a quality product. I have had zero issues. I love the options. My saddleback covers were custom ordered and the installer had them back in a week. I thought that was fast. They also do a very good job telling you what colors will match your factory interior.

Yes you completely remove the factory seat covers and reinstall the new ones. The fit an finish of my covers from Leatherseats.com was apsolutly perfect. I have ZERO wrinkles or fitment issues. I did them over a year ago and they still look perfect. I had a couple if questions during my install and Tim was very helpful in explaining my questions. Also my colors match my interior perfectly as well. It is not hard you just have to take your time. I did the back seats first because I wanted to get a little experience under my belt before I did the front. The only part that is a little hard is cutting the holes for the head rests. It imprtant to make sure the cover is installed perfectly strait and all seams are lined up perfectly before you cut the holes. They have several videos you can watch before you attempt your install.

I love my all black heated seats. I had some help doing mine but they are awesome.

I hope I won't regret black leather this summer

The two tone does look nice

I'm thinking about embossing my initials in the headrests like DW does on his cars, but he doesn't drive a RAM!

I've had multiple Katzkin kits, quality is the best. Once you start upgrading leather quality it gets even better. My one sierra has the Tuscany full grain leather in Amaretto, people love it.

This is good to know, the day my Longhorn leather becomes unsightly and not usable I'll check out these kits.
