Got my new seats, and I love em. I think they turned out amazing. I waited too long to get these bad boys in, but I needed to do my full dynamat job first.

Nice. How hard was the install? Did you lose the back seat arm rest?

Oh I didn't do it, I had a local shop hook me up after they ordered it for me. No back seat armrest on my 2010, just da bench!

Can you order and install these yourself?

When I went to Katzkin's site it kept referring me to installers or dealers. Ive done some seat re-covering before so I feel comfortable enough to install myself.

They came out great, BTW!

They look great. I have run Katzkin in 3 of my Ram trucks now, and have been very impressed with all of them.

I think you have to go thru a dealer/installer. My guys turned this around in a day though, and the out the door cost for seats/labor was $1200.

Thanks! Thats not too bad, actually.

You can buy the leather directly from Mopar for 800 or so, which means 400 in labor (if you check the Mopar parts site, the kit is sold as uninstalled for 800 and installed for 1200, which jives with your pricing). You dont get to customize it, though....found a couple places online you can order custom Katzkin stuff from and it can sure look really good while costing you lots more $$$!

Stacey David showed it being installed on one of his shows...makes it look easy! But Im guessing its not so easy, even for someone thats done it before. I helped a friend re-upholster a '67 Mustang. It wasnt HARD per-se, but boy did my hands hurt for a few days after.

You can pick up katzkin sets on ebay from 499-699. Been looking at picking up a set myself.

Same, I’m leaning towards black but I may just pony up the extra money because I want different colored stitching.

Currently I have gray cloth I like the subtle two tone of the interior since the door panels and everything else is black but then I remember about blue dye from denim pants being a issue in a previous vehicle that has beige leather.

Then again I rarely wear anything that would bled if I do I'll put a towel down and gray might stay a hair cooler then black
