Before you do anything, go set in a higher level Ram with the seats you want. I think you will find them to be substantially more comfortable and adjustable than your current ones.

Anything you buy will be made by someone paid to put them together. Variability from any source is to be expected. If you buy OEM Ram, you can see them before you buy them.

Absolutely. When you put leather covers on the basic cloth seats you end up with basic leather seats. Taking upholstery out of the equation, the factory leather seats are still far superior to the cloth ones.

I agree. The factory seats are uncomfortable as **** in my express. I looked at some oem upgrade seats on eBay but they go for about 2k+ which is just absurd all things considered. But I do agree im hesitant to skin these seats as they are not exactly wonderful to sit in.

car-parts.com is a nationwide system that let's you and yard owners scan the wrecking yards for parts. Prices are usually better than Ebay. Locally it's used by the yards I buy from.

You can search by location, price etc to find parts.

As an aside, The seats in my 14 Sport are a Vinyl/leather/cloth combination that is the most comfortable seat I've had in a pickup. The cloth inserts are great in very cold/hot weather and the seats very adjustable and have good lumbar adjustment. The cloth is nothing like the standard issue seats and is everything I like in a cloth insert seat.

IAC see what the upper level seats are like before you decide.

The Sport buckets are pretty much the same as the full leather ones aside from the upholstery. I agree that they're a good design. They're not quite at the level of the ones in my 300 SRT, but are better than the ones I had in my Grand Cherokee Overland and my Challenger R/T.

This site is awesome thanks. At the moment it would appear there are no leather interiors on it. I'll keep an eye out though

You can also follow "Seats And Such" on Facebook.
They sell lots of interiors, often take-offs or slightly used stuff.
Not cheap, but really nice quality and awesome people to deal with!

Katzkins (that are covered in sheetrock dust lol) so you can see, they are quality. This is my buddies ram I was talking about, he had custom stitching done as well as the paisley embroidery on all headrests and down sides (all the way down, full seat.) 5fe5589bd7ff65220cc1d44c4e09f9e0.jpg10da772fc083791798a6a2155c1a89de.jpg9add60003a2526ac0f03714ef3ede35e.jpg

That's a good install. Whoever did that, did a good job. Only real wrinkle I see is right there at the console. Tough spot.

Another vote for Katzkin

I purchased a 2015 Tradesman about 2 months ago. I had the same thought as you. I could not find a truck with leather for under 30k. Just had Katzkin installed. I bought the kit on eBay for about $500. Had a local installer put them on. Best upgrade so far.

I had Clazzio on a previous Ram. They are fine but prices are way up from when I bought mine. Since they slip over the original seat covers, the backs don’t follow the contour of the seat. I wouldn’t buy them again since katskin is not that much more expensive but much higher quality

Just ordered a custom set of Katzkins last week, $1230 installed. Am hedging my bets they will be similar in construction quality to what is found on the Longhorn. Laramie's seem a little thin where your butt sits and the Limited seems to have more true leather content and are softer. Will post pictures after they get installed next week.

Depending on how hard they would be used would help me make my decision. My kids are over their spill everything in the backseat stage and I baby my truck so I'm expecting the Katzkins to look good for a long time, we'll see
