I put a RECON third in my truck back in October and sealed it up. Was working good. Looked two days ago and I have a stain line on my headliner on the rear corners. Just pulled the light out and resealed it with more silicone and hoping that helps. Anyone know of any good cleaner to get the stain out of the headliner? Someone else on here suggested FOlex to someone.

Generally yes it's the third brake light, mine had a cb radio antenna hole drilled thru the roof, so I found a silicone plug that I used silicone sealant to ensure no water gets in, it used to be when it rained my dome light filled up and overflowed getting my interior all wet, now it's all sealed up, at some point I'm gonna remove the plug and plug the hole permently with bondo, or welding.

I have a 2016 Ram 2500 Laramie mega cab with a sunroof and I have noticed leaks in multiple areas. I've had water come from the driver side grab handle , overhead console, and the area under my radio filled up with an inch of water. I have 8000 miles on it and it's less than a year old. I will be scheduling to take it in shortly and I'll update the post as to the conclusion.

That's incredible. Updates?

Well, just experienced this with my 2014 2500 Laramie Longhorn. Guess I'll need to call the dealer. Water came pouring out of headliner back passenger side as I took off.

my 3rd brake light was leaking a while back, took it to the dealer and they supposedly fixed it...lately getting a musty smell instead of the leathery smell in my truck....I think it's leaking again....ugh.

Roof leak

Truck had been sitting in my level drive way in a steady rain. I put it in reverse to back out and water began flooding into the cab from driver side handle by the windshield. The water had obviously pooled in the headliner. The first thing i did was check the sunroof and it was closed. I took it directly to the victorville motors . They took the headliner out and told me they couldn't pinpoint the problem. They couldn't charge the corporation for inspection because they didn't fix a thing so they half hazardly put my interior back together and now my headliner is hanging a inch from where it should be attached and is rattling. Proper tool was not used for taking the overhead lamp assembly out so now there are tool marks. My truck is now worse then when i took it there. I will allow reluctantly allow the service department to remedy the sloppy work performed by a tech who has no pride in what he does. This has been my first Ram purchase experience.

I had the sunroof leak problem before on an older 2008 rig and they told me the glass seal is designed to keep air noise at bay but will leak normally into the track and the drain tubes will allow it to drain properly.
I had one of the drain lines kink and the tray would overflow into the headliner and into the cab so I bought a new pair of drain tubes and replaced them myself. No more problems.

If you read CaliJoes post you will learn the real problem, "Dealer couldn't find the leak so they couldn't charge corporate"
It's like pulling teeth getting corporate to pay to find the source of these non cut and dried problems. Although I consider myself a professional and would not give a persons truck back in that condition, you can't really blame the tech either, it's not his truck, why should he work on it for free?
If Ram really cares, start with rewarding (paying) good techs for actually fixing your vehicles instead of just paying to replace parts.
Most customers do not know how techs are actually paid. they replace a part, FCA has a time standard for how long it should take, that's what techs get paid for, replacing parts, not fixing cars.
It is a system that was outdated 30 years ago, cars are complex, you cannot in most cases, break it down to how long it takes to replace parts and then wonder why cars don't get fixed.
