I'm looking on getting a Blackvue DVR DR400G camera and I want to hardwire it to my overhead console with the auto-dimmer mirror wires so how hard is it to take it down so I can get to the wires? Thanks for your reply.

I was reading last night that all you have to do is just pull on the back of the overhead console nice and firmly and it should come down and that it have two tabs in the front of it. I'm hoping that someone will come and confirm this and thanks quietpeen for the bump.
