Searched on line and you tube but found nothing for G4 Ram.
I'm doing a bit of detailing on new truck. 2013 Ram LL. Previous owner left the pillar handles filthy and I wanted to take them off to clean. I got the two bolts out that are found under the plugs. Pillar cover is now loose but still not wanting get to come out. Is there a trick to getting them out? Looks like there may be an air bag under there so I don't want to be yanking on it too hard.
Any tricks to getting them out?

Yeah I made sure I got the stripping out of the way. I suppose I can tug a bit more but I dont want to break any clips or damage air bag.

There is not trick to it..like up and out or anything right?

Nope. Just a little metal clip after you have removed the bolts. You will be able to pull it back a few inches and then you will see a plastic tether that needs to be release. Make sure and resecure the tether. It is to keep that a pillar from flying when the airbag goes off.

Haha I'll try again

Lol, just give it a good jerk, there are little metal clips that go into the body steel and they're pretty stout. Pulling the weather stripping down will help as well, especially when you reinstall.
