I saw in a post someone used some kind of tube or piping in the cracks around the interior on the door and dash and such. Can someone help me out? I can't seem to find that post again. Looking to add some color to my interior

There you go... I found it that night and have already ordered some from ebay. Cost me $8 for 6 yards of the stuff.

Did you install it yet? I'm curious to see people have done inside the trucks with this?

Check out this thread. The OP has it in his. I have some on order myself, some blue welt cord that I'll probably have put in early next week.

Yup. That's what I was looking for. Thank you. Make sure you put pictures. I'm looking at getting a dark purple. Future plans in the making for a custom interior. Black and purple. Possibly leather dash swap with purple stitching and seats to match. But all in due time.

Not yet. I'm still waiting on it to arrive. It's supposed to be here early next week. I'll take some pictures when I get it and start the install. I went with orange to go with my ongoing theme.

Here's a few pics. Doors were fairly easy to do. Took about 20-25 minutes.4746d40c830472f7a48833fc443a61e4.jpgbc6ec7c087d9d5c21213eb627648b143.jpge39220e0740f08e1ebfd4e2be8c2fefb.jpg8ebaddfdf58c549bb1ce9ef92ff44aa0.jpg

Before I ordered I went to my truck and started measuring how much I would need... only to realize there is no gap on the doors in my truck to do that... well guess that's another one knocked off the list too. Looks amazing though. I have the express. My door panels are all plastic. And appears to be all one piece from the outside

Certain size on the cord?
5/32 cord
3/8 flange
?

Mine is 3/16". To be honest, I didn't even think about different sizes. I just found one in the color I wanted. I think a smaller size would be better to work with... Easier to make corners.

You can use it anywhere there is a seam... Dash, gauge cluster, maybe around door handles. I just added my left over material around my overhead console.
