So last night I went into the garage to smoke before bed and notice a very faint chirp/beeping sound every 10 seconds and narrowed it down to the truck. I noticed the gauges and evic were lit, so I tinkered with it locking and unlocking the truck and finally got it to stop. Just noticed it's doing it again and this time the evic will light up for 10 seconds, the mph needle will teitch, the evic shuts off for two seconds, and repeat. Wtf? I installed the pedal commander yesterday and got some codes thrown that I cleared with the trinity. Is this due to the PC????

unplug both and see if it continues. but its most likely due to a CAN-BUS error because of one of those items being plugged in.

Yup, my trinity was still plugged in both nights, once unplugged, it stopped. That explains why my battery was dead after the truck sitting for two days with the trinity plugged in. Strange how some have no issues with the trinity left plugged in.

Is your battery original? It may be on the way out too if it is, especially since you drained down once already. it might not hurt to get it load tested.

From what I read, you have to go into the menu and activate some "timeout" option so that the CAN BUS will go to sleep and not keep activating from the Trinity being plugged in all the time.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the approach ordeal? My trucks cluster will turn on when my keyfob gets close to the truck, I have no idea why or what it's all about, but I wonder if that's what it's doing...
