Rattle and vibration from rearview mirror...

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to secure the plastic cover between the mirror and windshield? I put in a aftermarket sound system and certain frequencies causes it to make a terrible noise! Ideas would be appreciated.. Thanks guys!

I have solved a lot of my rattles by placing tension on the parts with packing foam. Enough to make it a tight fit going back on seems to do the trick for me.
