Hello again all,
A couple. On the ago I noticed a rattle that was just quiet enough to make you go crazy. When I put pressure on my airbag cover, horn... it stops. If I put lifting pressure on it, like a whim, it doesn't stop.

Anyone have any Thoughts? I am not as close to a dealer as I wish I was so I will make time at some point to get to one.
The sound is similar to when you leave sunglasses in the console and they rub against the radio bezel.... thought plastic on plastic tapping sound....

Thanks for your help

Have you had the steering wheel harness recall performed? It's possible they broke a clip that holds the airbag module to the wheel.

Unfortunately no. The truck hasn't had any work done from the dealer in a couple years. No recalls either. Hoping to get time soon but this thing is obnoxious.

Are you still under the manufacturer warranty? They could probably fix it while performing the steering wheel harness recall for free.

I need to check. I don't think so but I complained about it while under warranty. Was just hoping someone had a fix. O well and thank you for the comments

I have this same issue with my truck, barely touch the cover and it goes away. I assumed maybe my mud tires had rattled something loose and haven’t had much time to look into it. Have you found any fix for the noise?
