Hey everyone got something driving me crazy. In the back inside of my cab on the passenger side it seems I have a rattle that is intermittent. Sometimes constant other times periodic. In the speed of 15-55 I can hear it.

Sounds like two pieces of plastic hitting or a snap button hitting the other piece. Can not locate anything. Tried the sliding rear window. Its tight and if I open it a little the noise is still there.

Anyone have some options or ideas here? Thanks so much.

are the seat belts bouncing around? if not, i have heard inside the panel behind where the seat belts are fastened can rattle. other than that, i would start taking the door panels off and checking things.

Hi Hughey79,

Sorry to hear about this! If you decide to visit your local dealership for further diagnosis I'd recommend going on a test drive with a service advisor or technician and asking them to sit in the back seat to try and locate where the noise is coming from. Feel free to PM our page with your VIN if you'd like assistance making an appointment.

Tonight the noise on my way home was worse and I was about to go insane. Had my wife jump in and help me isolate where the heck it was coming from.

Turns out it was coming from the center console near the floor. Literally all she did was push on the bottom side below the vents and it stopped.

Now the question is. Why was it doing it and what is it?
