Rear Seat Out?

I will have to take out the back seat of my truck when I do a stereo upgrade in the next few weeks. It might be out for a bit. My truck is my only transportation. With the seat out, are there any electronics that will be unplugged and make alarms and chimes go off or anything? It might be out for a couple weeks depending on how things go

there are a few connections under there depending on the trim level. Rear seat heaters under seat lighting. But I don't think anything to make any warning lights or sounds go off

Airbags

What about the airbags in the rear?

When I was installing my Katskinz, folks told me to unplug the battery & wait for 30 minutes when removing the front & rear seats. It allows the system to fully power down.

I'm sure that was in reference to the front seats. I'm pretty sure the rear seats don't have air bags. Look for a tag similar to the photo....if you don't see it then the seats don't have the airbags.

You do not need to remove the buckles so the rear airbags would be fine as well. There are no seat air bags on the back seats of the ram, they are in the headliner. If you have the split rear seat you will need to pull 1 bolt that also is used for the center seatbelt. It will not affect anything.
