(2) 4th gens with it and i still dont like it, i accept it because it gives me the 8spd, but i prefer a normal shifter, although i do like the space it frees up

I've gotten used to it and like some other people have experienced - when i'm in my car I now reach for the knob on the dash and my car has the shifter on the floor.

going from dash knob in one truck to manual trans in another gets interesting :crazy:

no but i have set the e-brake at a red light thinking i was pushing the clutch in out of reflex :baby:

I'm with Demon-HeMi on this... takes some getting used to but I love the 8-speed and all the free space in the console.

I have the column shift i want the console shift like in the 2013 1500 longhorn and i walked away from a 2014 1500 just because of the knob :shakehead:
