Guys,
Well I have been cleaning my longhorn seats with leather conditioner even though it says just soap and water and I think I know why.

I fired up my seat coolers today and the air flow is flat out nothing. I think all the leather conditioner has clogged up the pores in the seat.
Looks like I will have to use a needle and poke through the holes again. Has anyone had a similar issue?

I use leather conditioner on mine too. Mine is just a spray. Spray it on a blue paper towel. Real thick liquid. I do not clog the holes. But I do get mud in them from time to time and just use my knife or a tooth pick to clean them. Try McGuiars (sp?) leather conditioner. My truck is almost two years old with 56,000 miles and ALOT of sliding in and out and the seats look new. It is awesome stuff. No hole clogging.

I'm jealous that you need seat coolers right now, let alone have them.

There are products designed to clean protectants n the like out of leather, which I am sure would clean the holes for the ventalation as well.

Maybe go a touch lighter on your next application..?

I think I'm just going to get after with a toothpick or needle. I can actually see the seat bubble up when they are on...

Try a leather cleaner with a soft horse hair brush to clean it out first.
You can find them in the shoe department at most stores.
Be gentle with it though.
