Today I just noticed two little slots on both sides of the passenger seat in the dashboard. My glasses almost fit into those spaces but stick out, so they don't seem to work for that. I've never seen slots like this before. What is their intended purpose and what do you guys stick in them? Burritos?

Picture would be helpful.. "both sides of the passenger seat in the dashboard" isn't very helpful.. the passenger seat and dashboard are completely different things.. I suspect you meant to say "on the dashboard roughly in line with the sides of the passenger seat"??

I understand the spots you're talking about. Under the ac vents. 1 on each side of the radio and one by the passenger door next to the glove box.

I haven't found any use for them. A knife wont even fit in there. I guess you could keep chap stick or hand sanitizer.

Anything I put in those, or the any unclosed compartment comes flying out when I punch it. Now nothings in them.

Patent pending RAM dust catchers...I have never put anything in them except for the one on my driver side under the headlight switch. I have my bass knob for my amp in it.

Dust catchers seems about right. They are just about the right size to be useless. I need to upgrade sunglasses to something without scratches in the lenses, so maybe I'll find a pair that fits in there better.

I put my insurance card in one, but I think they are intended for business cards.

The local car washes give out little trash bags with a round hole at the top to hang inside of your vehicle. I couldn't find a better use for those compartments so I made something to fit in one of them and hold the trash bag. There is not a bag on it in this pic but you can see the thing. I took some measurements and made it out of a block of wood and used a rounded over dowel rod set into a hole I drilled. I used Plasti Dip to make it less noticeable.

I modified the one under the headlight switch and stashed my trailer brake controller in it. I've always sat close to the wheel and whoever had the truck before located it where I kept smashing my knee into it.
