What wood conditioner to use

Just got a 2016 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn. This truck has real wood trim inside. It appears to be raw or near raw wood with no finish. What is the best way to condition and protect this wood?

How do I condition wood trim?

Just got a 2016 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn. This truck has real wood trim inside. It appears to be raw or near raw wood with no finish. What is the best way to condition and protect this wood?

Sand, stain, sand, stain, then polyurethane, sand, poly, sand, poly. Always sand between coats!

Hell honestly I have no clue. A little linseed oil will probably do the trick, but anything you put on it is going to make it darker if it's not finished.
