No. Burden would be on dealer to PROVE your after market modifications were the cause of the failure (Take turn on the ole inter-web to review the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act P.L. 93-637).

How could FCA do that when just about every Hemi they've built eventually has an exhaust manifold warp or bolt break???

Every Hemi that I have had to this day except my 2014 ram 1500 has broke exhaust manifold bolts. I have replaced them on my 2003 2500, my 2004 2500, my 2007 Durango, and my 2006 Jeep Commander. The commander was the only one I could not get to the bolts so I actually found it easiest to pull the heads with the manifolds on and replace it outside of the vehicle.

My 2010 Commander is still going with 265k on it. I replaced the water pump, alternator, and starter aside from regular maintenance. My oldest daughter drives it now.

Broken exhaust manifold bolt final answer. Probably a warped manifold caused it to snap.

Thanks for all the feedback. Now I need to decide which headers. I don't want longtubes cuz I'm not getting a tuner. This is my DD and I'm constantly on the highway traveling for work. So I'll be going with shorties. Which brand...BBK, JBA, or Flowtech?

I had BBK shorties on my Camaro at one point. Good product and affordable.

No tuner needed. They just replace the factory manifolds and bolt up to the rest of the existing system.
