After getting my trinity & HF tune, I've recorded a few 0-60 times. My 1st was a 6.92 with lots of wheelspin. Next was a 6.81 in 4wd that overpowered the brakes & lurched a bit before letting go. The other night I pulled off a 6.27. This was with 4wd locked, manual shifting, & about 10 degrees outside. The next night I tried again. Accidentally left it in 4wd auto, & double shifted out of 2nd. Ended up pulling a 5.60!! The launch was brutal, probably because of auto 4wd. Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked.

All runs based off of trinity timing, power braking & launching at 1800 - 2000 rpm. Currently running HF 89 tune filled with 90, & k&n drop in filter.

But the big question is....what were your times BEFORE the Trinity and HF tune?? How much improvement did it make??

Good question, honestly I don't know. According to my ass-ometer, the canned Diablo was a decent improvement over stock. The HF was a huge improvement over canned. For s & g's, I'll throw the stock pcm in & make a run.

NICE!
The ass-o-meter can really play tricks on us.
But forsure the hemifever tune makes a difference.

Is your truck a RC, QC or CC?

My RC on 3.92 8 speed got me a 0-60 of 5.03
I know i can break 4s because I got a bit better at launching and right now in Southern California it is cold.
Been like mid mid 40s at night now so maybe it can break into 4.9s lol

CC 4wd 3.92 5.7 with factory size 20" ipike rw11. I'm. Not sure how accurate the trinity is on reading this. I'm assuming its reading wheel speed from the second it sees anything over 0 & stops reading once 60 or 100 is reached. Guess I could find a phone app to compare it to.

I checked car & driver this morning, they say a 140" wheelbase (which is CC) 5.7 weighing 5900# ran 7.0. I'm not sure if they're flooring it or power braking.

The Diablo 0-60 timers vary a bit from actual times. They all seem to be a bit more optimistic than actual data. Just experience with some friends who use the trinity and then go to the track to find the results somewhat misleading. If anything it's a good tool to keep track of progress but I wouldn't stake any real claim with it.

That's quick! I tried a 0-60 a couple of times and it was about 8 seconds. I immediately got bummed and never tried it again:(
Where at in Southern California are you? What does your Ram have besides a HF tune?

I am near Los Angeles, by the West Covina area.

It has a K&N intake, electric fan, magnaflow 14" muffler, catch can, 180 stat, 2" rear drop, ATI pulley, hellwig sway bars and all 4 rear control arms.
I believe I got that 5.03 run before I put the ATi pulley on it.
ever since I put the ATi pulley I never tried it again.

I work in the San Fernando Valley and live in the Antelope Valley area. Id really like to find a fellow forum member with an aftermarket exhaust to help me decide on what to get for my Ram.

What kind of exhaust are you looking for?
I got the boeschbuilt 14" magnaflow bolt on kit.
I like it, but i think i might want to sell it soon and then get a carven exhaust on it.

I need something with a little more roar to it hahah

I read someplace that if you add a catch can your 0-60 times will drop by a full second.

What does "Double Shifting out of second" mean? It went from second to fourth? How do you get it to do that? If you are skipping gears, why the 8 in the first place?

My Nephew's phone app said my truck did a 0-60 in 5.0 seconds. I dont believe it. But it did shut my nephew up!
