Hope I'm in the right place as i just joined. Receintly bought a 2011 3500 6.7 6 speed msnual. Having a clutch problem. Truck has 95K miles. Wont go into reverse with engine running. I know its not a hydraulic problem. Thinking it a pressure plate problem. Dont think clutch is fully dis-engaging. Anyone out there had a similar problem. Also any place to get some good manuals on repair s for this truck. Thanks

Any quality transmission shop can do this repair. Since transmissions are their only business they often are better equipped, and more experienced, than the RAM dealer. A transmission shop can also offer you a wider array of options, than a dealer, with heavy duty upgrade possibilities

I wouldn't go to a trans shop if you still have a warranty

What happens when you start it in reverse? Does the clutch feel like it is engaging and trying to move the truck?

It should have a 100k mile powertrain warranty I believe
I actaually didn't even see the mileage before

Then again re-reading it a third time, recently purchased sounds like it was bought used and I'm not sure that warranty transfers to another owner or how that works

Powertrain is good to 100k miles however if its a clutch it will not be covered. Clutches are only covered by a 12 month 12k manufacturer warranty. But if its in the transmission, take it to the dealer and get it fixed for free.
