My remote start feature OEM just stopped working, no evic codes or display, when pressing the button twice like it says it only beeps once instead of twice and nothing, any ideas?

This happened in our jeep commander last year. I just unplugged the power connector from the module waited a few seconds and plugged it back in. Then it started working again.

Hi al0412,

Have you changed the batteries in your key fob to see if that may solve the issue?

Did you try using your 2nd FOB if you have one??? Mine quit working on my 2010 Challenger and I had wore out the contacts in the FOB and ended up having to replace it. My backup FOB I kept in the drawer worked just fine...

My 2nd FOB does not have the remote start on it, it is getting the signal but won't sound the horn twice, where is it located so I can try unplugging it? Finally is there anything else I can try?
