Hello, I need help asap please!!!
I have a 2011 RAM 1500 with a 4.7 liter v8 engine that keeps throwing the code P0308 cylinder #8 misfire detected. It has a rough idle as well, causing the code. My truck has 122000 miles on it and I just bought it from a dealership 8 months ago with 118000 miles. It was a one time lease truck for a company called wheels LT. After this code first came up, I first changed all 16 spark plugs. After that did not fix the problem I then swapped the plug wire and coil pack on cylinder #8 with another cylinder. That also did not fix the problem so I swapped the #8 cylinder fuel injector with another cylinder, and that still did not fix the problem. I have my own code reader, so I erased the code after every attempt to fix it and still it is the same code. It only misfires at an idle, I can reset the code, drive 200 miles down the road with no problems but as soon as it idles, it throws the code. I compression tested all cylinders and got these results- #1 dry121 wet121 #2 dry120 wet120 #3 dry119 wet121 #4 dry121 wet121 #5 dry116 wet121 #6 dry120 wet121 #7 dry115 wet118 #8 dry113 wet121. Now like I said earlier, it only throws the code at an idle, it has a little bit of a rough idle, but it runs fine driving down the road with no codes being thrown. When its idling I had gone around and unplugged cylinder #8 coil pack and that then makes the rough idle worse. With that being said, it is not fully misfiring at an idle (600 rpm), and it does not misfire over 1000 rpm. Please give me any sort of ideas I can do to fix this problem. Thank you!!!

any issues with the wires on the connector for that coil pack? Trace them back as far as you can.
