What kind of gear ratio options are available for the 2013 4x4 rams, Im hearing that they have a new differential and that theres nothing really available for it.... my truck has 3.55s but I want to upgrade since I also have 35" tires.... would i be limited to what dodge has available for these trucks? If I remember correctly the lowest gear ratio offered for these trucks is 4.10 which comes on the r/t models is this true?

With the 2013's being the newest Rams on market, I have yet to hear anything about gears for them and if they're diff's are different from the 11-12's, it'll probably be awhile before any aftermarket company comes up with anything for them. You might be better off with the r/t gears unless you're willing to talk to some shop and seeing what they're willing to look into with some $$$.

I believe the 13 uses the zf axle/differential used in the '12s
4.10:1 is the lowest gear ratio but it is for the rear diff, their aren't any bolt on ring and pinion for the front axle

Some people are having gears machined to fit, I believe it is just a difference in bolt pattern
I think fastandugly has done 4.56 in his '12 for 37's, I'm sure him or maybe another member will have better information

yea it looks like im going to have to go with 4.10s for now...I really dont think the 3.55s are cutting it with my 35"s. ill be going to the dealer in a couple days to get a qoute, my sales guy told me he would give me whatever parts i needed for the truck at his cost so well see if he keeps his word lol

The 4.10 is only available for the rear axle. See above.

If you want 4.10s you have to swap out the front axle to a 2010(?) which has aftermarket 4.10 support. Somebody will correct me if I am wrong on this.

i was under the impression that the front axle is a regular 8" axle and that the rear is the one that needs to be swapped unless going to 4.10

Moes told me you can do factory 4.10 gears for front and back 4x4. Are you sure your info is correct?

i have 3.92 gears in my 2011 with 35s and i was looking at going to the 4.56 until the dealer told me i need to change out my front axle. now i am looking at the 4.10s but i dont think it would make that big of a difference.
