I am not sure if the American Racing Header fit the 13's or not, but I bet Matt from Moe's performance would be able to help you out with it. I know they fit on my 2011.

Yes, the ARH Longtubes and the JBA shorty headers will fit your 2013 4wd. The longtubes are going to give twice the gains, but they also come at twice the cost. It all comes down to what you want to get out of your truck. We have both in stock and ready to ship.

If you decide on longtubes, I would go with the 1 3/4 as they are going to show the best gains in the low-mid rpms.

I'm I retested in some new headers too. What's the diff in performance between long and shortys?

Shorties are showing about 15hp, and the longtubes are making about 30hp...even more with custom tuning. I have 3 customers now that have gained between 60-70rwhp with just longtubes and a Hemifever tune. Those are HUGE gains for such simple upgrades.

The Longtubes also come with everything needed for a Bolton install. Headers, mandrel bent y-pipe, high flow cats, new gaskets, bolts, o2 sensor extensions, and stainless clamps. Everything is there to make this as easy as possible.

Also, with you being in Arlington, shipping would be overnight ;)

And when tuning is talked about what is meant by that and where can this be done at.

If you are looking for simple gains, then the shorties are fine. It is going to be more work if you want to complete the rest of your exhaust though because you will need to have a new y-pipe bent and welded together. With the longtubes, this is already done which makes the install completely bolton. The shorties only replace the exhaust manifolds, so the y-pipe and cats would remain stock. The longtubes come with a new mandrel bent stainless y-pipe and high flow cats.

As for tuning, that is just adding a programmer to account for the extra airflow. As of now, the only tuner available for the 2013's is the Bullydog Hemi Plus. Once Diablo releases their tuning, then you would be able to have Hemifever write a custom tune specific to your truck to really bring out the most from your motor.

Stop tempting me with this....will the other muffler system (stainless works) bolt right up with the long tubes as well?

The Stainless Works catback system will bolt up to their header system, but I cant confirm whether it will work with the ARH headers that are available now. SW said they were a few weeks out before their kits are officially up for sale.

The ARH kits hook into the stock 3" pipe....the SW cat-back does too. I bet you'll wind up with about a foot of stock 3" pipe between the 2 and not much else.
I have to call SW back tomorrow about just buying the tailpipe sections. If you talk to them Matt see if they'll let you as a vendor buy just those parts please.

No problem. If I talk to them before you do, I will ask about that. You looking for just the piping coming off the back of the mufflers?

Yea. There's 2 pieces per side. No tips either. It would save me a ton of fab work on making tailpipes since they've already done the homework.

Well long tubes are the way I'm going to go. I want simple bolt-on install. What is the process to install and program to compensate for the extra airflow?

I for one like them. Dunno about my power gains being high as they're unverifed. Doesn't feel like Sixty whp but I still feel my truck is slow. No one else that's ridden does tho :)

Mods in sig. Hopefully I'm up there power wise.

I installed the 13 headers on my 2011 No problems.

I feel if ones doing full exhaust then I've has to do tuning and intake as well.

Do you have a custom tune, or just the standard Diablo tuning. The 60hp gains that we have seen have been with the longtubes and custom tuning combined. Longtubes alone are going to be good for roughly 25-30hp.

I am interested in a set of the ARH long tube headers for my 2013 ram...Will these pass the CA Smog Emissions? Do they have a CARB sticker? I'm betting I can't use these in california and expect to pass smog....

The only headers available that are CARB certified are the JBA shorties.
